What a meaningful morning of worship at Loxa Presbyterian Church.
A big thank you to Tim Silence for leading us in worship today and for sharing such a beautiful and thoughtful sermon. His message centered on finding the light, reflected through Isaiah 9 and Matthew 4:12, reminding us that even in darkness, God's light is always present and guiding us forward.
What made the service even more powerful was how perfectly the closing hymn, "Since Jesus Came Into My Heart," lined up with the message. One lyric in particular stood out:
"There's a light in the valley of death now for me, since Jesus came into my heart."
The hymns had already been chosen before we even knew what the sermon message would be — a beautiful reminder that God knows, God provides, and God is always working in ways we don't even realize at the time.
If you're looking for a place to worship, reflect, and grow, we would love to have you. Loxa Church is a small, loving gathering where everyone is welcome.
Service every Sunday at 10:30 AM. Come as you are. Join us anytime.
